Many have been asking how to earn another side income on your drawing? Can they become the main income one day?

There are many many ways. I have read and research, mostly are USA context. Asia is not that popular yet. Here is the 5 ways:

1. Be A Guru (teacher)

Video everything on how you draw and colour. Then post it up on YouTube.

Sign up a Google account and be YouTuber! Teach people drawing online and you can earn by people watching it. First you need go get 1,000 subscribers first.

or You can put your teaching material on website for people to attend like Udemy or Skillshare.


2. Be a Blogger

Create high quality content to help the rest saving their times go digging so hard on the webs. You need to create a good content and get Adsense to approve your blog. Then you can start have your income.

You can create free blog in Blogger or Wordpress.


3. Create Story book or Colouring book 

You can actually books and publish yourself without a publisher. All you need is create a high content of books in PDF and upload to Kindle Direct Publishing website.

The easiest books is colouring book. Just draw and put into a books.



4. Sell you Art Online

- Sell Printed Art

You can print out your art and frame it. Then sell as Wall Art.

- Sell sticker

You can buy a nice quality printer and a cricket machine (basically a machine to cut the sticker according to your design).

- Shirt or Mug 

You can put your drawing or lettering on Shirt or Mug and sell it.

- Sell digital art

You can draw festive cards, most company needed illustration and sell it.

I believe during this COVID-19 pandemic, everyone has more time to master some skill. Art do you keep you mentally healthy too. This is the first sentence I googled when I start learning digital drawing. “How to start Digital Art? I just know I want to learn art but I don’t know what I want to draw and how to draw something amazing. The first drawing I drew was even worst than a 7yo kid. Improvement give motivation. You need something to keep on. How? What? Follow at least one tutorial a day!  The frequency can be lower like twice a week or once a week. The key is Persistent and Consistent .  You will slowly have some grasp of Basic towards digital art.
